it is similar to the symbol for mercury (thus the name). i found out that the costume designer from a clockwork orange bought this piece. of course, at the time she was working on ocean's twelve, but a clockwork orange is a much cooler name to drop.

I would wear that. It makes me smile because the barbell reminds me of jewelry worn in piercings.

you're spot on! it is. and if the people who own one get adventurous and unscrew it, they will realize that they own a pendant, body jewelry, and a ring (i believe it is a size 7.5 or 8).

i've never told anyone that.
